I don't know or care who works for Limbaugh - but I do know that Howard Stern's act wouldn't be as "acceptable" as it has become without Robin Quivers on board.
She gives "permission" to people, who otherwise know what Stern does is bad taste and offensive, to laugh and enjoy it and not take it seriously.
Limbaugh hops back and forth over a line between "don't take me seriously" and "take me seriously," It's hard to figure out when he's trying to entertain and when he's trying to inform.
I wonder if Limbaugh's dramatic weight loss in the last year damaged his heart. How odd that Limbaugh and Obama were on the same island playing golf.

I really think you need to listen to the show to understand Rush's sense of humor and the context of the remarks -- at least the "Magic Negro" comments.

It was a spoof. A parody. It was funny.

Was he trying to stir up a little shit on the left? Sure. He was trying to have some fun at their expense & point out the hypocrisy on the left at the same time.

As for calling Sotomayor a racist, well I don't agree with the statement, but I could understand why someone would reach the conclusion.

Her "wise Latina" comments were dumb at best, and racist at worst. When you consider that she repeated them numerous times -- they were in her "stump speech" -- you can't just write it off as a "poor choice or words".

My point was more that his employee would be unlikely to work for 20 years for someone he considered to be a racist.

And since that person knows him better than any of us, he would be in a better position to know if Rush is a racist.

Obama may or may not personally be an anti-American, but he plays to the anti-Americans, says anti-American crap all the time and/or uses code terminology that the anti-Americans use when they are being anti-American.

So, really, when he is stirring up the anti-Americanism in his followers and getting people angry about hard-working, every-day Americans or businesses being successful, what does it matter if he is personally nice to real Americans?

I haven't been on this board since around midnight, when this thread was 3 pages long. I just got back on, and figured it would have been locked around 12:08 a.m. I'm shocked that this has reached 9 pages and hasn't been locked yet.
