And who's to say that he won't? Especially considering he never even said that.

Because if the top editor is a clown, that means all the beat writers are, too.

Experience is to say that he won't.

He's following the exact same path that every athlete who has ever failed a test has ever followed. The actual innocence rate is minuscule. It's the old "everyone is innocent in prison" routine.

So while it's theoretically possible that he's innocent, the chances are so low that I see no need to consider it in discussing the news.

What's the percentage of those who think Braun is clean and believe Paterno got a raw deal?

    1,894 percent.

The chance of him being innocent is so small based on what others have done, that I'm willing to just dismiss multiple conflicting reports and crucify him. I guess that's fair. Carry on.

"Multiple conflict reports" is fanboi-speak for "What actually happened against the story my boy is telling."

I called it, and it's working already: Throw as much shit against the wall as you can and give your fans something to cling to.

What are the odds of a false positive? Has any story mentioned that? It has to be astronomically small.
(But then, even astronomically small odds, if put in play often enough...)
    Just curious.

No it isn't. It's called waiting until the actual story is revealed and making a judgment then. With every passing hour since this story broke it has become less and less credible and more questions are emerging. You don't even know what he tested positive for. ESPN claims a PED and then TH reports it's not a PED and suspension would be 25 instead of 50. Someone is going to be wrong.

If he tested positive for weed should we still take away his MVP?

Fans? If you look at Twitter some of Milwaukee's media members sound more like fans than the actual fans about this.

This is one of the dumbest comments that has been on this site. You must hate all sports then.

A failed drug test is a repudiation of all those local MVP votes. Another good argument for sportswriters never voting for anything.
