Calling bullshit. His team "claims he will get off because he took herpes medicine and that caused the failed test." Uh, no. That wouldn't matter; he would still be suspended. Doesn't matter if it's for herpes or a cough or to hit home runs. You take banned shit, you get suspended. This screams horse shit.

 

Reminds of when Paul Byrd, with any shot of the World Series for the Indians spiraling downward, stood in front of a brick wall inside Fenway Park before Game 7 of the 2007 ALCS and tried to cover up his HGH use by saying he did it only to treat a tumor. It stank then. It still stinks.

No. There's still at least a bit of doubt on that front. IIRC, weren't there a lot of reports on who won the Matsuzaka bidding that turned out to be incorrect?

It's now pretty much obvious and being reported by just about everyone that Braun was taking a medication, but strangely this story has fallen off the earth. Funny how that works.
