    I see the differences.

I still think there are many similarities, though.

He might get suspended, but Ryan Braun will eventually come back to the Brewers.

Ol' Moneybags, however, will not be seen in St. Louis until he's in the visiting locker room.

Oh and Mark McGwire would like to join you at Broadway Oyster Bar & Grill to discuss the storied fuckin' cheatin' lore of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Unless cheeseburgers are considered a PED I'm pretty sure Fielder is clean.

    HE'S A VEGAN!

(And because of that, several species of flora have gone extinct in the last five years. See, now that Fielder is not coming back to Milwaukee, I can join the fun too!)

I thought he was off that wagon, so to speak.

It is mind boggling how naive this board continues to be when it comes to PED's. Why in the hell would anybody give any athlete the benefit of the doubt when they test positive? What is the percentage of athletes that are actually telling the truth when it comes to these test? My guess would be about 1%. They all have an excuse. Maybe Braun is in that 1%, but judging by the athletes of the past I sure as hell won't be buying what he is selling.

Which proves my point that people's minds are already made up.

Turns out it was medication that caused the abnormalities in his blood. His muscle development doesn't suggest that he uses PEDs. Compare him to the known users like Palmeiro, Canseco and Mcgwire.

Most of the players caught have been little-known middle relievers or punch-and-judy speedsters.

Also, some of the prior posts focused way too much on the Manny Ramirez comparison, which isn't one-to-one but is valid for what it was used for, and not enough on my thought that baseball needs transparency to have credibility.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

It's all about false equivalencies. "Maybe he's innocent and maybe he's guilty" is roughly the equivalent of "Maybe I'll win the lottery this week and maybe I won't."

Using Palmeiro as an example isn't helping your case. He looked nothing like McGwire or Canseco physically. He didn't look like a juicer at all.
