    Thank you for proving my point about how naive this board is.

    The fact that they're incessantly beating on this whole "private" aspect of the supposed prescription lends credence to the idea that it's something embarrassing like that.

    If his choice is between people thinking he's a cheater or that he's got issues in his love life, he really needs to bite the bullet and opt for the latter.

    A guy with five posts proves your point about how naive the board is?

    Thing is, under the rules, whether he intentionally took it or not they have to suspend him if the tests are accurate. You don't get a pass for "accidentally" taking something. Or you're not supposed to anyway.

    There has been a noticeable shift in tone from Braun's side. What started out as "no way no how this test is bullshit and we can prove it" has become "he has a private medical issue."

    You know, in the old days, the papers just would have reported that Ryan Braun was suffering from "indigestion" or a "bellyache" and we'd all have left it at that. :D

    No, every thread on PED's does, this just reinforces it.

    I apologize if this has already been addressed, but last week's SI said he had the highest testosterone level in the history of baseball's drug testing.

    If Scott Boros was his agent, he'd try to use this stat to squeeze and extra few million out of the Brewers come contract time.

    A month later ... Dan Patrick said on the radio today that he talked to "somebody involved in the process" and has come to believe Braun "may be exonerated."

    Betcha dollars to doughnuts the person involved in the process is an agent-type. I don't really know what to think -- maybe Braun has a good case, but considering what his people have been doing since word first leaked, it's just as likely that this is another attempt to soften the fallout by making Braun's fans feel like he got screwed.

    Patrick also says the "personal medical issue" is not to blame for the positive test. So that's yet another version from the agent that can be dismissed.

    Braun can join Tim Thomas in the gutless puke club.

    ::)

    How does that report make Braun gutless?
