Has Braun admitted he juiced up or is a denier?

Let me speak real slowly so you can understand ... he ... can't ... say ... shit ... until ... his ... appeal ... is ... over.

Why is that so damn hard to understand?

He can say whatever he wants. There isn't a ban on being honest. No one else can talk, but he can. Not incriminating oneself is not an excuse for lying, and Braun is responsible for what his representatives say.

When there is an ongoing appeal, no, he can't say whatever he wants because it would taint the appeals process.

He could have just admitted it from the beginning.

Admitted what? Just because you have a hard-on for him being Barry Bonds incarnate doesn't necessarily make it so.

I think he'll get suspended for unknowingly putting something into his body. His fault, rules are rules, but the tsk-tsking by some in the national media -- based on what little we know right now -- is really silly.

I agree that he is kind of bound by the process from saying anything, but I think all this off-the-record/background chatting is aimed solely at damage control to get people to think exactly what you're saying -- accident, put it in his body, etc. That's exactly what Shawne Merriman said too. Then he completely vanished as a player as soon as he couldn't "accidentally" put that in his body anymore.

Athletes that continue to offer up excuses for PED use remind me of defendants in capital murder trials. They deny their guilt, until the penalty phase, where they offer up reasons why they shouldn't be punished.

    Good comparison.

And thank you to Bubbler for reminding us *why* his people are trying to so hard to muddy the waters with preposterous leaks.

No matter how absurd the lie, if there are people who want to believe it, they will.

    Fuck off.

I've said from the beginning that the process needed to play out. It hasn't yet. I've also said from the beginning that if he's guilty of intent, fuck him.

There's two sides to seeing what you want to see. There's a lot of people who want to see guilt as much as there as those who don't.

No one, not you, not me, knows what's happened yet. Maybe we never will.

But to assume guilt or innocence at this point? That's world-class ass-showing by either "camp".

Here's my test. I know what my reaction is going to be if there is intent shown that he took PED's. Braun is dead to me.

What's going to be the reaction of those of you who presume he's guilty if he's exonerated? I don't think that's how it's going to play out, because I'm of the mind that he ingested something and will get suspended, but what he gets cleared?

I'm sure it'll all be Bud Selig's fault as part of some moronic conspiracy theory.

The rumor mill in Milwaukee (ie, my buddy...a Brewers fan who "knows people") says that he was taking herpes meds and that's why he is not going public with it...because then the truth would come out:

He likes lots of pussy. Even the nasty, skanky, gonorrhea-infested trim.
