I haven't made up my mind about jack shit. But I'm open to both possibilities, which is more than I can say for those who want to automatically burn at the stake.

As long as his people keep creating bullshit stories, they'll always give you just enough wiggle room that you can cling to your "we don't *really* know" defense and feel good about cheering for him. That's what this has been about for him from day one, and it's working.

We don't know for certain that Bud Selig didn't sneak into his house at night and inject him without his knowledge. I haven't made up my mind if that's what happened, because we just don't know for sure.

I believe it was "that overtrained athlete syndrome," sending millions scurrying to the Google to find out what this apparently well-known condition was.

So, we're judging Ryan Bruan by what Floyd Landis did. Yup, sounds like the typical logic from the steroid witch hunter types.

Is there a case of an athlete saying "flawed test" and it really was a flawed test and the punishment rescinded? I don't doubt that there has been one, but I don't know of it.

Assuming such an occurrence exists, it would be one flawed test against hundreds or maybe thousands of claims of flawed tests. So nobody is judging by the Floyd Landis example specifically, only by what the overwhelming history of this issue has been.

The only one I can think of was Butch Reynolds, who was suspended by the IAAF in 1990 for failing a drug test and wound up taking the case to the Supreme Court so he could run in the 1992 Olympics.

"Daddy what is the personal medical issue that Ryan Braun has"?

"It's a horrible disease, son. It can cause severe loss of home and income and make you a pariah in your community. Mom cast me out when she found out I had it, forcing me to live in this one-bedroom hovel.

"Don't ever go to the Crazy Horse."

"Wow! Avoid the clap, [Ryan Braun]!"

    "That's good advice!"

Yeah, but that was in Turkey so it doesn't count...
