Is Braun denying he took anything or is he denying he knowingly took something?

Agent: "There are highly unusual circumstances surrounding this case which will support Ryan's complete innocence and demonstrate there was absolutely no intentional violation of the program."

Please. Because all of the other sports are so clean.

Enjoying self-inflicted misery in others is part of the human experience. If that makes me classless so be it.

And that goes double now that we have entered the "deny everything and try to muddy the waters enough to split public opinion" phase that comes with being caught redhanded.

Ignorance isn't enough to get a suspension lifted. Or it shouldn't be.

So if Braun is innocent, wouldn't MLB have a vested interest in getting out there and clearing the name of its newly crowned NL MVP? Where is MLB's statement on this matter?

Either MLB is really shitty at crisis communication or Braun isn't as innocent as he's claiming.

I'll vote C. All of the Above.

Milwaukee fan base was notably vocal -- and with some excellent visuals -- in support of Hank Aaron as Bonds was breaking the record. Would be fun to walk it back.

Regarding Braun's contract and whether it can be voided: is it a lead-pipe cinch that they would still want Braun over Prince? And if not, can they do one deal and undo the other?

    Haudricourt just heard from Braun:

I am very interested in seeing this play out. Braun leaves himself no wiggle room so he better be right. The agent tried for wiggle room with "no intentional violation."

How did 'Outside the Lines' get the story? Did they say?
