So many of the terrible arguments all in once place.

The argument that you can't stop it so you shouldn't try has been soundly and properly trashed so many times, I'm not even going to bother. It's a terrible idea.

The bit about the uneven playing field is interesting, but still crap. Sports should be determined by genetics and work ethic, not chemistry. People are born with talent and they work to develop it. That is different from allowing them to acquire it illegally.

DocTalk explained very well the major flaws in your idea. This isn't just one monolithic governing body you are dealing with. This is all of the major sports at the professional level. This is the NCAA. This is high school and youth levels.

And that, is where this gets really troublesome. When do these decisions get made and who makes them? You want to make PED use standard at the professional level? When does it start? Sure, at first it will be the NCAA wrestling with the issue, but there are already kids in high school using this stuff. Hell, that's not even knew. I went to high school with kids who used steroids illegally over 20 years ago.

Next thing you know, you'll have idiot parents pumping this crap into little Johnny when he's in middle school and doing it at younger and younger ages presents its own set of problems. That is at least part of why these things are illegal in the context of sports, because they are even more dangerous for young people as their bodies develop and the more widespread and accepted they are at the professional level, the more kids are going to want to do them or the more jackass parents will want their kids to do it.

When these drugs are used to treat medical conditions, there is a risk. The doctor has to weigh the benefit, the need, against that risk. Some make the irresponsible choice, but that doesn't mean we just throw our hands up and let it happen when the need isn't there at all.

I doubt that you can, at least not successfully. You have a good day as well.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  6. As long as we can find the guy who planted PEDs in Braun's urine, I'll still believe he's clean.

My favorite stalker making like old Ray Lewis and jumping on the pile.

A handwritten name on a list is evidence? Man, you are desperate. But we already knew that.

Maybe he was just storing one of his bottles of magic urine in their fridge.

    Nicely done.

But more seriously, maybe he never had anything to do with the place at all. The existing evidence against Braun, even though it was thrown out for good reason, is still far more compelling than somebody else writing his name on a list. The fact that the bitter Cubs fanboys on this thread seem to think otherwise just proves the point I've been making about you all along.
