Faldo kind of barbelled his list, his strongest (he thinks) players in the front and the back. He must be going for a couiple of early wins to make it close, then hopefully closing down the stretch. Azinger put the toughies in front, too, so there are some good matches early.

Boy, would I love to see Kim continue like this.

You think it will stay that way?

Poor Sergio. "An annoying gnat." Good call Johnny Miller.

Holy crap, these guys are on fire right now. Seven USA flags up there. EDIT: Make that eight.

I was somewhat certain that Azinger would breakout those ugly-ass maroon shirts the team wore when they won at Brookline. Those were sweet.

This is fantastic theatre. I can't imagine watching NFL or MLB today over this.

The one thing I thought all week was the shirts were pretty bland. I'd have the U.S. shirts feature red, white and blue every day.

"Bongo" Garcia is getting beat like a drum. He'd just better not whine after the match given all his theatrics over the years.

Does Sergio realize this technically isn't a major?

Outside of yakking the short putt, this is more Anthony Kim playing out of his mind than Sergio sucking.

Kim's damn good, though. Young and unknown still (although not around these parts), but he's a stud. I think in a few years we'll look at this and rescind that "out of his mind" phrase.
