Great display by the young Americans, terrific putting all week, and a deserved victory.

Zero wins by Garcia, Harrington and Westwood? How astounding is that? Take that stat before it all begins and you figure Europe gets waxed.

As well as the Americans played as a team, no one player played better than Ian Poulter.

You can't blame the loss on Faldo's pick.

I don't think you can blame the Americans' dismal performance the last several Ryder Cups on Tiger Woods.

I suppose, in retrospect, Faldo could have picked Clarke or sucked it up and picked Monty instead of Paul Casey but hard to be critical of a guy who picked Poulter, who played better than anyone on either side.

Still, a huge win but the U.S., making this a rivalry again. Tiger can play again in two years, but only in fourballs. He's just too pouty in alternate shot and puts too much pressure on the other guy.

Maybe, maybe not. It would be one thing if the Americans were losing President's Cups during the same period, but the Yanks have dominated the world in the Cup since 1994.

    Tiger who?

When he's representing something other than his check book, he is full of fail.

Such as in the Presidents Cup or U.S. Amateurs?
