    Well, I'm glad this is all seemingly fine with Scott Nulph.

    That was the kindest, most softball-ish column I've ever seen on such a subject involving a major college football program.

    Considering it's a response to, and is, I think, supposed to be a public calling-out of an already previously dick-ish coach about a rather lengthy and apparently all-encompassing and unilateral action, it really surprises me.

    No. Doug's the overall SID, but doesn't do much day-to-day with football. Jeff Purinton, who used to be at FSU and the Orange Bowl, is the football SID, so he's the one that has to deal with Saban all the time.

    I am in New England.

    To me, Alabama, while not Notre Dame, is like the Cowboys are to the NFL.

    I see Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida and Florida State in that group too.

    Boston College, not those league-jumping bozos. Jesuit values my butt. (Sorry about that. It's a button)/
