Well I certainly did not know that, that's surprising. I thought games in Hartford went away about the same time as those old NBA doubleheaders did. But I quit following the NBA about the same time the Braves left Buffalo, so there you go.

  2. Not so fast. According to the Sac Bee, referencing the Seattle Times, the Maloofs want a say in the team after a move. Oh, and an offer hasn't been made yet.

screw the Maloofs; let them continue to lose $$, let the value of the team sink.

Commissioner needs to put a gun to their heads, force them to sell and ban them from having anything to do with the NBA again.

But if guns are banned, only incompetent rich people will be owning teams!

Towards the end, the Sonics made lots of people lose dinner.

To think that a decade ago, the Maloofs were considered to be among the best owners in the NBA.

I'm guessing the economic downturn has killed them in Vegas and they're holding a couple cities hostage while trying to milk every last dime out of the Kings.

Stern should have made them sell the team the second they reneged on the Sacramento arena deal.

  10. I don't know if this is just under the radar or a deal will be done, but the Clippers' lease with the Staples Center expires at the end of the 2013-14 season.

The food at the Space Needle sucks and is overpriced anyway.

Said for a long time the Clippers should play in Anaheim, at the arena where the NHL's Ducks play, whatever they are calling the place these days.
