  1. Clippers likely earn more money playing at Staples than they would playing at Honda Center.

    OK, so your point is?

Their options are pretty limited. They either do a new lease at Staples or go to Anaheim. Can't see them going back to the LA Sports Arena.

  3. It was news the last time the lease was up in 2004 and AEG put the message out Staples could make more money without the Clippers because more dates would be available for concerts.

I find it interesting. With the Clippers the best team in L.A., AEG can make more off the team.

Ok, so if AEG tells the Clippers to take a hike, where would they go? Anaheim, in all likelihood.

It is pretty ridiculous to have two NBA teams and one NHL team in the same arena. That's 123 dates a year for just regular-season games. Mix in preseason and whatever playoff games you have and that's probably somewhere around 150 dates per year.

  6. Seems smart for AEG. Keep in mind there are several days where there is either a hockey game in the afternoon and basketball game at night, or two basketball games as what happened on Christmas.

CSN Philly tweeted the contract details and the lineup of assistant coaches for Andy Reid with the Arizona Cardinals.

Hoping this one is a bit better...

Or last May, when they had to do six changeovers in four days, between the Lakers, Clippers and Kings, and host the finish of a major bike race to boot.

Ken Berger, a generally more reliable source, says a buyer has emerged who would keep the team in Sacto:

If Seattle doesn't get the Kings, they'll likely get the Bucks when Herb Kohl shuffles off this mortal coil.

If the Winnipeg Jets can come back, so can these guys ...
