    That's ridiculous.

  2. And it was at restaurants, not bars. In some states, you can't buy beer in grocery stores, unless it is in a separate area with a separate cashier. Utah is not the only state with odd alcohol laws.

I remember when I moved to Nevada, seeing hard liquor on the shelves of Vons, Albertsons and Smiths was a total mindfuck.

In Washington, my home state, all the liquor at the time was sold in state-run liquor stores.

Iowa had state-owned liquor stores into the 1980s too.

I know I'm not the only one on this board who spent college Saturdays in Missouri making sure to stock up on beer for Sunday.

Sunday beer is something else. Nothing like drinking five 32-ounce cups and pissing your kidneys out while barely catching a buzz.

At least you can buy beer on Sunday there, unlike other places.

When I was working in Arizona, you couldn't buy beer on Sunday until after 10 a.m.

Well then you're talking about managing a team that sucks. Shitty management helped lose LA football teams for God's sake. I said you had to have people on board to make it a competitive situation. So my point stands, you could accomplish this is a lot of these towns.
