    Proves my point.

He will never let another team call Seattle, which is a great basketball city, home.

It's Stern playing Luca Brasi, delivering the message to taxpayers everywhere that whenever the NBA billionaires inform you they want a new arena, you are either going to sign a contract for the new arena, or your brains (as an NBA market) will be splattered all over the paper for the next 20-30 years.

Yeah, and whoever takes his spot will carry on his legacy of douchebaggery.

Bodie is either a) from the Pac northwest; b) a Sonics fan or c) both. Noting of course that the Sonics in that sense did not move to Oklahoma City.

Of course they moved to OKC.

    And I am proud Seattleite.

Not the Sonics, per se. The franchise moved. When basketball returns to Seattle, you'll get the Sonics, not the Thunder. See: Browns, Cleveland.

They have a "shared history" so Clay Bennett can claim his team won the 1979 title, and Gary Payton's records are now as a member of the OKC Thunder.

He's not a douchebag. He's a member of the mob.

The NBA seems to be talking more about expansion than the other three leagues. I think if that does happen, Seattle will get the first team.

By talking you mean Stern saying, “Right now, expansion is not on the agenda, but I would never say never. We will see what happens. It doesn’t make a lot of sense unless we know what the new TV deal is.”
