But, you know, it also goes to show that gay couples are like hetero couples in that there can and will be issues, and possibly splitting up/divorce. Of course there had to be "the first" gay divorce. It's a process.

same thing happened in canada with the first gay couple to get married. now, that one was a total sham, to create the precedent. then, they got divorced, so they could create the precedent that the divorce rules for straight and gay marriages were the same.
