    How many people on this board have worked big disaster stories? Probably more than not. Anyone who has knows the first hours are all a jumble of misinformation and errors mixed in with nuggets of fact and you guess which is which. I don't think it speaks well of us as a group of professionals to post every batshit thing put up on Twitter or even stand-alone unconfirmed cable news reports.

    Cops are sounding very confident that it was multiple shooters.

    That sounds like a conspiracy, not a "lone nut".

    I couldn't agree more. I've had CBS News on in the background most of the afternoon and I have to give them credit. Scott Pelley must've repeated the mantra 20 times that many early reports in these situations turn out to be false and they were clearly holding back on reporting some of the rumors that others were running with.
