    I sure hope I responded to everyone who applied. If I missed anyone, I sincerely apologize.
    We've promoted Kirk Kenney to the Aztecs football beat. He was handling some Padres, small colleges and minor league hockey for us.
    We also hired Robbie Harms, a North Carolina grad with internships at The Boston Globe and The New York Times, to replace Kirk.
    And again, thanks to everyone who applied. There are a lot of talented journalists out there.
