    For the record: The Midway might be my new favorite museum ever.

    I had about three hours to spend there yesterday before they closed; I could spend all day in that place.

    It’s worse than that.

    Because of my particular tasking at work, I have a ton of interest just sitting in CDC staring at tactical consoles.

    It’s fascinating to see how they’ve evolved.

    The Yorktown in Charleston, S.C. is equally impressive. Intrepid in NYC is cool because it has the space shuttle Enterprise as part of the collection...But Midway was the coolest. They did it right.

    It is definitely overpriced but the bar and restaurants at the Pendry are fantastic. Lionfish was a great meal.
