Sandomir - NBA TV Ratings in Tank

Give us something to back that up besides your personal opinion.

The fact is that ratings for sporting events (sans football) are down across the board. It's not that the NBA is lacking stars or that baseball is dying. It's that people's viewing habits have changed.

 

Sure, people play pickup basketball.

And millions of kids under the age of 12 play little league baseball. They even have a little tournament at the end of the season. They show it on television.

How that proves more kids play basketball than baseball, well, I'm not quite so sure.

 

But with more teams playing that way, wouldn't there be a better chance of a team that plays run and gun winning the championship? More teams playing that way=Eventually there will be a champion that plays run and gun style.
People talk about the Spurs playing slow ball but they don't realize that they can play both styles.

You think it's easier to baseball? Ok so you need 18 kids. 18 gloves. A ball and at least one bat. And oh yeah, you gotta go find a park.

For basketball, all you need is a ball and hoop.

Alright buck, Im gonna ask you. Do you think kids play more baseball than basketball? Do you find kids playing baseball from 12 pm to 10 pm everyday(during the summer)?

I'm not talkin about toddlers. Im talkin' about 6th grade and up.
Hell, we can just make it high school if you want.
