I'm amused by that

 

When this thread was started Santana was on pace to break the all-time strikeout record. He finished with 13 K's in eight innings.

I rest my case ... huh? Oh, I just thought that was a figure of speech. Case closed.

 

13 k's wasn't even his career high. That would be 14

 

Did we know that when we started tihs thread?...I think not.
