There is NO way I would go out with your son. Our details would show up on SportsJournalists.com in embarrassing fashion.

They have to be able to buy their own booze. I think that rules out little shockey.

I am going - alone - to the 7 p.m. show tomorrow. So ladies, if I were in your locations, you could have gone with a real nerd . . .who is now in full scoff mode at the critics who say "This Joker is not funny!! He kills people and is sadistic!!! what a PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Um . . . . The Joker, aside from a lull between the late 1940s and early 1970s, was ALWAYS sadistic. Glad a filmmaker and his script finally got it right.

Still, I'm not too excited. I mean, excited enough to want to see it ASAP, bu that' how I always am with these types of films. I remember getting all excited about th 1989 batman, freaking out that I wouldn't get tickets (egged on by the standard jerk friends of the older brother: "Dude, Piotr, it's sold out ALL SUMMER!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!").

And I saw it at midnight, the next day, and the day after that. I still enjoy it. I saw it a couple more times in theaters (though Phantom menace would later shatter that mark with 15 times seen in the theater . . what can I say? I liked the Jedi stuff), and felt that since i would take forever to come out on video, I was doing the right thing.

Its release date in theaters, as I'm sure we all remember from the posters with just the logo and the date, was June 23. It was on home video in October.

So yeah, I figure I'll see it at some point.

Phantom Menace? 15 times? In the theater? Really?

That's kind of sad. And not little cute kid with four toes sad, more like, 35-year old fat hairy guy in a speedo sad.

This movie was fucking awesome. Best. Superhero. Movie. Ever.

I loved Nicholson as the Joker and Ledger blew him out of the water. Best Actor, he will be. And he'll completely deserve it.
