Ha! Eeyore is my favorite. I kind of relate. I have a stuffed Eeyore on top of my stereo right now...

    Are you spying on me?

  3. I have a little one who is suddenly big-time into Pooh.
I guess I am seeing the world that way right now.
I heard "Thanks for noticing me" in my head in your post.
I'm not sure who I'd be...maybe Pooh. "Oh bother. I want some honey."

Last post and I'll walk away from the threadjack: My best friend in HS and the person who's known me the longest outside of family was a Pooh fanatic. I tried to use "Oh bother" senior year and through college to be all retro and stuff. I never could remember at the right times.

Now I have a friend/coworker who says "oh dear" and it just fits her. Sadly, the things that "fit me" are things like "fuck me gently with a chainsaw" and "fuck off and die."

That's so funny. I read the Pooh books at night to my pregnant wife's belly (OK, corny), and not an hour ago I was reading this big story about Eeyore. I always have to do the Eeyore voice from the old movies.

Just bizarre that it would crop up here.

Doesn't it make you just love this place?

My daughter LOVES when I do the Eeyore voice. Then again, she thinks I can do Tigger, too. My Eeyore is pretty good (deep voice), but my Tigger is horrible.

Stick it to the man! :)

But seriously, definitely not a movie that's going to look great on the small screen. In fact, I want to see it again on IMAX.

  9. Been there, done that, loved it.
It is the first movie to have some scenes filmed with IMAX cameras, I read.

The only tickets available for our local IMAX were for like 7 a.m. a week from Thursday. I just could not hold out that long.

  11. It's still a damn fine movie on the second viewing...

I loved it and thought it and Ledger's performance lived up to the hype.
