Maybe Christopher Nolan can flip a coin on it.

They probably can't do it because DC doesn't have its own studio the way Marvel does and there are likely rights issues, but they should have a cameo by Clark Kent asking questions at the next Commissioner Gordon press conference. The fanbois will go nuts.

I guess it's misleading because they're all signed to multi-picture deals for the franchise. It's worded very poorly in the article that I found.

Worth noting that the Dark Knight needs $1.2 million to pass Iron Man.
TDK is now the biggest film ever in terms of 10-day openings.
    The Dark Knight $313,781,677
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest $258,364,766

World-wide TDK has made $442,081,677 and is on pace to be the biggest movie ever.

    It won't top Titanic.

Unless the bottom falls out, TDK will be at $375 million in a couple of weeks and in the top 10 and it may not hit Titantic, $600 million, but No.2 movie, domestically, is very possible.
Star Wars is No. 2 currently at $460,998,007, but I think that includes the first release and then the second, improved effects release.

My Catwoman vote: Famke Janssen or Parker Posey.

It won't hit Titanic (and in my opinion no movie ever likely will, baring some massive inflation fuckup) because Titanic was on top of a very crappy box office season for close to four months.

I can see this reaching $450 or $500 though. I mean, shit, at this pace it should hit $400 by next weekend.

I hate to say this, but a 43, is she too old for the role? Janssen is actually a couple of years older than Nicole Kidman.

    The real question:
Has Batman II rendered all other movies irrelevant?
Is there even any point to making movies anymore?

I don't think they can put Catwoman in the Batman movies. Doesn't another studio have the rights for that? Remember Halle Berry?
