According to the article, the administrator thought it was such a disturbance that he waited until brunch break to turn into the fashion police.

What disruption are you imagining is going to be caused?

Go watch West Side Story then come back and we can discuss.

I'm sure they were doing it to be jerks. I'm sure they were doing it to annoy some of their classmates.

That's not the same as a disruption. Offensive and annoying are not the same as disruptive.

The National Guard should have been called in to shoot them, Kent State-style. Nobody likes a protest.

Truth would be an absolute defense here.

And isn't Cinco de Mayo a big deal in the U.S. because Corona started making it a big deal?

Sure, blame it on the beer, you un-American, teetotaling, buzzkilling cretin.

Don't bother, Junkie. Dudes are focused on semantics, having trouble processing things beyond "flag!" and "kid's rights!"

And where were you when I needed you on this one?

I'm far from teetotalin', but I wouldn't touch that corn swill with a 10-foot pole.

Good lord you should feel ashamed for this.

You: It was intended to be offensive.

Us: We know it was intended to be offensive.

You: Man, I sure don't get why you guys don't get that those kids were just trying to be offensive.

Us: We know it was intended to be offensive.

You: I can't believe you guys are arguing that the kids weren't trying to be offensive.

We're on to four pages of this. I thought by page 2 you would have gotten it.

It should be noted, as I always seem to must, that no amendment to the Constitution is absolute. Schools have been shown to have latitude in regulating time, place and manner.

Good point. Great marketing by Corona, though.
