Amen. As I said before, stop listening to the stuff the attorney says and applying it to conspiracy theories. Including the stuff about the door getting kicked in and phone lines being cut. Everyone seems to want this to be a Pulp Fiction-style hit. It might have been, but it also might have just been a dumbass robbery gone wrong.

  2. I thought the same thing. It might not have been his idea to write that, but that could have waited a day or two. I'm sure the fantasy dorks will be soon doing the same thing.

Yes, because anybody who likes fantasy football must be incapable of human compassion. ::)

The Schlereth segment was strange. is that how he acts on his soap opera?

I'm sure some will disagree, but I thought the boys on PTI were very good today in talking about the Taylor story and their own feelings.

Couldn't agree more. Tony's words about his daughter and the fact that he wishes he were a fan and not so cynical - as a journalist - was something most of us could relate to.

Hey, I obviously root for the Steelers, as Wilbon obviously roots for the Chicago teams, and that is a topic for another thread, but when I stated that children cried in Pittsburgh when Ben was hospitalized, many people on here said the normal Pittsburgh moron idiot yada yada fanboi crap.

Well here was a grown woman crying for Taylor. Go ahead, blast her.

Too many writers distance themselves so far from the fans that they cannot sympathize with who is reading what is written. Athletes are heroes to many people, and there it is not a damn thing wrong with that.

And I have stated many times, the Steelers are the one team I could not objectively cover. Possibly the Pirates, but I am just indifferent to them.

    93Devil, one was a death.
Wonder if anyone tailgated at the hospital entrance for Sean like they did Ben?

Any thoughts on Wilbon's comments regarding Taylor not distancing himself from his thuggish past? I was surprised to see anyone go there at all, let alone so soon.

Sorry, but the Schoolchildren Crying for Big Ben sounds like so much horseshit to me. Not believable.

And the fact it was in June, too...school wasn't in session.
