Gotta love it when newbies try to crap all over a thread that has been pretty decent overall.

Good point about criminals not being geniuses. I sometimes forget that they are capable of some of the strangest crimes. It's one thing to pick apart the human mind, but it's something else to pick apart the human mind on crack or angel dust or a multitude of other drugs and mental states.

That's all well and good. Care to let us know what other things we shouldn't talk about. After all, with your ... what ... hour and a half experience here, you should be a pretty good judge.

You know how some people cope/deal with tragedy? They talk about it. Particularly folks in the COMMUNICATION business.

And if you're looking to avoid discussions of WTF happened ... and why ... you might want to unplug from the business for awhile. Because it's not going away anytime soon.

    Newbies?

    Fuck that.

I knew Sean. He kissed my baby last year. And we went and hung out after that.

Sean Taylor was a great guy, and a great friend to me and my wife and my son.

Fuck anyone who thinks Sean Taylor was a loser or a bad guy. He was great to us.

Who said he was a loser?

    You're clearly a fanboy, not a journalist.

Who here accused Sean Taylor of being "a loser or a bad guy"? All I've heard so far is questions, justifiable questions given the circumstances.

Assuming this is true, and that is always a big assumption, I am sorry for the loss of your friend. Despite what some people seem to think, I don't believe that anybody here sees his death as anything but tragic.

But no, we aren't going to stop talking about it....all aspects of it. I don't know what kind of guy Taylor was, but he definitely made some bad choices and those make up part of the picture of the man. This has been a very fair discussion of a terrible event.

If this disturbs you so much, perhaps you should go elsewhere.

There are people on this board who would tell you I'm an asshole and others who would say that I'm just a wonderful guy. It doesn't mean that you have to believe either side, just as I don't have to consider your perspective of Sean Taylor with any more weight than someone who was looking down the barrel of his gun a few years ago. The bottom line is that Taylor is dead, and it's the media's job to look at his death and question his legacy and whether it might have had something to do with his death.

Surely you didn't think that would actually work when posting it on Page 12 of the thread.

And I think it's safe to say we all hate this story.
