How long did it take the medics to respond to his house? He could have lost a large amount of blood by the time they got there. Hope the guy pulls through. He could lay the lumber.

For the last two years or so, Taylor had ben living pretty clean. It had been a while since he had any scrapes of trouble with anything, even on field stuff. Maybe he just got better with getting away with things, but it seems as if he had grown up to the point where the past was the past.

So I'm a little shocked that this happened.

    From channel 10 in Tampa

"Investigators are interviewing the girlfriend and other relatives who were in the home at the time."

Ugh. I have a feeling this is not going to be a simple case.

I was assuming he was at home alone with his wife and kid(s?).

This was not a random home invasion. I guarantee the gunman knew whose house he was breaking into.

Did Taylor bring it on himself? Who knows. But the fact that he's got millions of dollars makes him a target. The gimpy knee doesn't hurt, either.

I'm just hoping that everyone tells the police the truth.

I know no snitching is a mindset, but let the police do their jobs. And yes, I do realize his dad is a police chief.
