Uh, they played Sunday, and sometimes, since they are off on Mondays, players go elsewhere Sunday night and Monday?
You do know the shooting was 1:45 MONDAY morning?

If you want to talk to me about how black women disappearing gets no coverage compared to the white Barbie dolls who vanish... yes, that's valid and I think it's a repugnancy in the news biz.

The crap she was spewing ... it wasn't that.

He's been hurt, and apparently he was in Miami to get a second opinion on his injury.

Because he's rehabbing on his own?

My mistake, but since he'd been injured...

But the team should be supervising that.
    It's their dime, their treatment.

Honestly, targeting an athlete's home on a game day makes a lot of sense. All you need is a schedule and you know the person won't be home. Just might want to check the injury report.

I'd say it's too bad... but perhaps there would have been even more bloodshed if he hadn't been home.

    Very sad for him.

The oral sex blast had as much place in this thread as a point about how this is looked at differently because he's black.

Read the thread; it's flowing along, people trying to track down news and posting informed speculation about what the prognosis is of such a wound . . . then someone hops in to try to make a racial point out of nowhere. And ironically, just as it is said that a dude like Taylor might always have his past hanging over him, Cowbell shows that Jemele Hill will in some circles always be thought of as someone who might have revaled a little too much on her blog.

Look, let's just deal wih what is known. Sean Taylor is a hell of a football player. Sean taylor has been shot. The bullet hit a key artery. He has been close to death, and would, even if he lives, face a lot of future hardship that may include losing a leg, and will likely not include playing professional football.

Any other bullcrap about his skin color or a columnist's old blog posts just muddies up the works here.
