Seattle 2008 SJ.com outing: T-minus one week

    Just called the hotel.

    The Downtown Airporter runs from SeaTac to the downtown hotels. Runs every half-hour or so. Cost will be $11 each way, and it's about an hour drive from the airport to downtown. The closest stop is the Warwick, which the hotel concierge said is a five-minute walk.

    That Web site also says cabs would be about $35 each way to/from the airport. If you got three people in a cab, the cost would almost even out, it seems, but then you'd have to coordinate arrival schedules. I'll probably stick to the Airporter.

    6:50 to be exact. If I'm on time I hope to be at the hotel and ready to go out by 9 at the latest, hopefully 8 if everything worked perfectly. Either way, if you guys are out I will come find you.
