All I wanna do is drink, not on my own. Whether that's in my hotel room, a club, a bar -- I'll figure it out when I get there.

No alone drinking allowed. It's somewhere in the bylaws.

There's really not, at least not in the downtown area. The dance club they're talking about is in Pioneer Square, which has plenty of bars, but they're mostly full of frat boys and rowdies (though being on Thursday might help that). Plus all the places down there have covers.

I should add, though, that I'm hardly an authority on the dance club scene. There could be places I don't know about or new places.

I thought it was your job to wear them. As the gayest straight man on SportsJournalists.com, after all. ;)

And Diabeetus is the official winner of the straightest gay man on SportsJournalists.com. I concede the crown.

THEY aren't talking about anything. I'VE mentioned a couple places. I'm likely the only girl who would want to go to the club I posted.

    Jesus.

Still shouldn't be too difficult to meet up later at a central spot if there are groups split up earlier, right?

Actually that's pretty much the big dance place as far as I know. Only one part of it is hip hop, so it would have something for everyone. It's really big. Seems like it would be perfect for a group.

Also, it bears pointing out that we're talking about places that are less than a mile apart. It's all in the downtown core, not an arduous cab ride or anything.

Does it have a you couldn't pay me enough to dance room?

Seriously, there was a bar in Indiana like that -- a few floors and multiple themed music rooms with a central dance floor/gathering place and bars set up strategically throughout.
