Right. But then Cadet suggested it, and other girls weighed in. Just trying to get a feel for what's being discussed.

IJAG, if you bought the teal top, that could totally work in either a club or nice bar. I'm all for getting dolled up and hitting the town on Thursday night, but I want to do something that most people will have fun with. My boyfriend's comment was "90 percent of the people there are going to be sportswriters and probably have the corresponding rhythmic skills."

by the way coffee lovers, seattle's best coffee is much better than starbucks. as far as the space needle, if it is crappy weather then don't bother. it really isn't that high up, but there can be great views of the sound, rainier and the olympics if it is clear. also, if you like fish and chips, hit ivars on the waterfront.

From head to toe, regardless of what I wear, I'm not appropriate for "upscale" anything. But I'm now officially unemployed and on an extended break from what used to pass as my life, so I'll go wherever. Life's too short to wear sleeveless shirts every day.

    Forecast for the outing:

Thu: High of 62, low of 49; 30 percent chance of rain
Fri: High of 60, low of 49; 30 percent chance of rain
Sat: High of 66, low of 50; 30 percent chance of rain
Sun: High of 64, low of 49; 30 percent chance of rain
Looks like the roof will be closed all three games. Oh, and while 30 percent chance of rain in other parts of the country means it won't rain, it definitely will rain in Seattle.

30 percent chance of rain means it will rain 30 percent of the time.

'Gola, I was actually going to say the opposite. Mostly because a) the weather folks around here never know what they're talking about on the day-of, let alone a week in advance and b) a 30 percent chance is pretty good around here, especially lately when it's been about 95 percent.
