I hope he's taking it in from his car each night...or that's going to be some raunchy-ass beer.

South Dakota is a beautiful state, ya'll. But there's no damn sweet tea.

She brings up a pertinent point. Is there anywhere in Seattle you can get legitimate sweet tea?

Actually, it should be fine, as far as I understand, as long as it wasn't chilled beforehand. Even raunchy-ass Yuengling tops whatever else exists here in the Northeast.

    Tasted fine to me.
Can you get drunk off 3 1/2 beers, wicked?

    No!

    Now I am pissed.

(Pissed as in drunk, and pissed as in pissed!)

I've lived out West for three years, and the answer is no. I don't care if someone tells you yes, the answer is no.

So when you're out here, order water, order beer, order juice, order coffee, order anything you want. But don't order tea, or "sweet tea," because it won't be what you think it is and you'll come away disappointed.

Just realize that you're going to be without sweet tea for the duration of your time in out West. It's an unavoidable, unfortunate situation, but make the best of it.

If you accept this now, it'll make the transition easier. I promise.

Then I'll buy a large from Hardee's tomorrow morning. Wednesday at Hartsfield I'll find some place that serves it and spend the two hours drinking my fill. And that'll be that.

Wonder if Bojangles' chicken and biscuits travel ...

You know, if you can bring some up ... I'll pay a small fortune for your troubles. 8)

I've dying for some sweet tea. Haven't had it since I was last in the South, 10 months, 11 days and, oh, 13 hours ago.

OK, anyone who's in for a trip to the tattoo parlor on Saturday...I think we're going here:

I need a head-count so we can figure out transportation. It's a tiny drive from the hotel, so I'd like to figure it out in advance. I think we're looking at early afternoon, depending on what time everyone's going to the fish market thing. :)
