I've been rewatching West Wing on Netflix. Saw this one about a week ago. Good episode.

 

The Christian religion is based upon both testaments of the Bible. Both testaments of the Bible are followed, which is why we hear anti-gay Christians say that God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Therefore, anyone who touches the skin of a dead pig is unclean, including Tebow, from a strict interpretation of the entire Bible.

 

So the answer to his question, quite obviously, is "no."

Yeah, as a Catholic the first reading was from the Old Testament. Lot of learning about Genesis and singing songs from Paalms. But my Catholicism had nothing to do with the Old Testament apparently.
