Secret Santa 2016: We're on!

My giftee should be receiving a package tomorrow 'else USPS will need a stern talking to.

 

Glad it's a hit! And glad you didn't get a stinky, soggy box. We've had a real explosion of local breweries in the last three years or so. The Amputator is probably my favorite in town.

No Hill Farmstead? For shame!

 

I was at the post office right about closing time Saturday to pick up some expected packages from my family. Got all but one. Went home. Then was out and about Sunday and decided to swing by just to see if anyone else had shown up. I know they've been backed up in there.

Lo and behold, I have another package, but only a slip I need to turn into the post office guy to grab in the back. It's Sunday, I should just leave, right, come back Tuesday?

But, wait, do I hear people working back there? I think I do... SO, I go around and check, and sure enough, a couple employees came in on Sunday to fetch packages and are happy to hook me up with what turns out to be a sweet t-shirt from Milwaukee and an awesome danish, perfectly timed for Christmas morning.

Thanks SS! Great haul this year! This is a big annual highlight for me here! Thank you!

USPS says my gift was delivered Saturday to someone's front porch.

 

Update: I finally got a package into the mail today. I apologize for being a late gifter. The reason was I was trying to track down a local baked product and didn't find it until Sunday. I'll try to relay a tracking number through Secret Santa later tonight. It should arrive in a few days.

Also: I got an awesome baseball cap over the weekend!!! Woohoo!!! Thanks Secret Santa! I should have mentioned that I had gotten it, but I was trying to figure out what it is.



I figured out Las Vegas, and a New Mexico logo is on its left (far) side. I was a bit puzzled and it finally dawned on me (today) that there might be a Las Vegas, New Mexico. Duh.

Yep! The Train Robbers of the Pecos League. Neat!

I even looked up the Las Vegas wiki and found out the town has quite a history. And an insane asylum!

Thanks again Secret Santa! I'm actually going to be working in New Mexico a lot in January and will wear it proudly!

Not complaining, just an FYI. I have t received anything from my SS yet. Maybe the above poster is my SS, which means baked goods are headed my way!

 

I'm not sure. Could be me. Did SS relay a tracking number to you? The one I sent is expected to deliver on Saturday, 30 DEC.

I sincerely apologize to whoever gets what I sent. I got delayed by the baked goods. I had an inanimate object before Xmas but wanted to send more than that. There are three wrapped gifts in one box, and none of them rattle or sound like a ticking clock.

But whoever gets this has the added suspense of getting things from VB!
