If Roy Williams never was in danger of losing his job despite all his ghastly NCAA tourney losses at Kansas and not winning a championship, why would Bill Self be on anything remotely approaching the hot seat when he's at least won a title?

They do not seem faster, stronger or more skilled than FGC. Where the hell did these guys come from?

Perhaps they were hustling people all season so they could take people by surprise here.

So Trey Burke is going to be in my nightmares for a while, but no it was too early to foul. Maybe with less than three seconds, but there was enough time for Michigan to make two free throws and still get the ball back after fouling right away. I agree with Jay Wright, you play physical defense and if they call a foul they call a foul, but you got the kid to shoot a guarded 33-footer with 5 seconds left, I was thrilled KU got him to settle for that shot so early, until it went in. Too bad they didn't call a foul on KU when the kid setting the screen flopped.

Johnson's head was fucked up after he got the flagrant and then the third foul really quick, he just wasn't himself. I still don't think he did it on purpose, but if he did I wish he'd gotten his money's worth because McGary was good. Johnson's taken that shot after making that drive to baseline 75 times at least and probably scored or got fouled half the time, but he was never even going to think about shooting it.
