You're the one who asked why Buzz Williams would leave Marquette for Texas, so if there was a memo, I assume you didn't miss it.

This is why I asked that. Didn't know Texas was open.

You posed the hypothetical again, though, so I answered. You wanted to know why he would leave, not why anyone thought Rick Barnes was getting fired.

I'd say there's a good chance Ohio State and Michigan meet in the national final. Let's say it's 30 percent, still a good chance.

Both fanbases care way more about football than basketball, so it'll be interesting to see if the rivalry is hyped up for that game.

Why did nobody press Self for not fouling?

Because there was too much time left. Burke shot with 5 seconds remaining. If you foul then you give them free throws and likely another possession. Less than 3 seconds, that's a different story, but Burke shot a 33-footer over the outstretched arm of a 6-8 forward with 5 seconds left. That's about all you can ask for defensively, kid just nailed it. He was awesome.

I disagree. If you foul, worst case scenario is Michigan makes both foul shots, Kansas misses both free throws and the Wolverines have to go the full length of the floor without a timeout in what will be three or four seconds. It was easily the best decision to foul.

Well KU got a good shot to win it on the other end after Burke's 3-pointer, so getting the ball down the court in three or four seconds is not a problem for a guard at that level.

To foul him when there was no chance of it being on the shot would have had to happen with seven or eight seconds left. Burke hits two free throws to make it a one point game with seven seconds left. Michigan fouls right away. Kansas misses the front end of a one-and-one and Michigan has the ball with six seconds left and a shot to win it in regulation.

Like I said, you can do the foul thing up three with less than three seconds, but if you've paid any attention to this tournament you'd know how many possessions can take place in the final 10 seconds of a game.

No, you can do it there and just make free throws. If I'm a coach, there's no way in hell I'm giving my opponent a free chance to tie the game if I don't have to.

If you're a coach, the authorities are investigating everyone who was part of the hiring process.
