The two big white guys on Duke are stiffs.

    Especially 34.

Plumlee's not. But Kelly (34) sure has played horribly today. The foul trouble early handcuffed him, but he just looked lost all day.

The NCAA needs to take a page from the NBA and order the refs to engineer closer games. What a bunch of dud regional finals.

If he landed 4-5 feet out of bounds, then that would be a red flag for me, but it looks like he did not.

GIF just of the Louisville bench's response (you can't see the injury):

And Quinn Buckner's slurping of/alibis for Duke begins!

    Thanks for posting that.

It reminds me of the jail scene from Hancock.

Hearing Pitino's description of the injury made me cringe all over again.

That will certainly go down alongside Theismann in the annals of gruesome sports leg injuries.
We have enough pro wrestling fans on the board to remember the Sid Justice injury in WCW. Reminded me a lot of that one, where he broke it on landing from a fairly normal height. This one was worse, though, because he appeared to break it in two places instead of one.

A buddy of mine was sitting five or six rows behind the U of L bench. Said he could hear the leg pop when Ware hit the floor.

that was cringe-worthy, indeed. i thought, 'geez, rick i could've done without such a graphic word picture.' i imagine the stories written for our reading pleasure tonight and tomorrow will include a wide range of descriptions from the eyewitnesses near the action. certainly photogs had time to get a clear shot of the leg -- will anyone be tasteless enough to print it?

Our layout guy was just going through the photos and was beyond horrified.
