Does anyone else think the following paragraph was a bit oddly written? (From the ESPN mothership)

"Luke Hancock patted Ware's chest as doctors worked on the sophomore and Russ Smith -- who is from New York City, like Ware -- walked away, pulling his jersey over his eyes. Even Pitino wiped tears from his eyes during the nine-minute delay."

That's fake. This real life and a real person who is going through pain.

Real life is more shocking, to me at least, than make believe.

What's more curious is that they talk about Ware being from New York yet all I heard from Pitino and on TV was that Ware is from Atlanta.

The top post on reddit now is a very clear image of Ware's broken leg. Forget the video. This is so much worse.

I must be looking at the wrong reddit.

EDIT: Yeah, I am gonna throw up now. That's horrible. That might be the most horrifying photo I have ever seen.

This is way worse than Theismann because it's in HD.

Theismann also had a heavy sock over his. This one was in your face.

Didn't watch the Louisville game live but recorded it and after watching it, I thought CBS did a very good job with the injury. Nantz and Kellogg went with quiet mics. Wolfson was on top of things. The decision to only show two replays -- at a distance -- was absolutely the right call. A much different reaction for the Tiffany Network from the Superdome blackout fiasco.

If we're allowed to talk about basketball again, can anyone remember a worse second weekend of the tournament? Michigan-Kansas and Ohio State-Arizona were the only good games.
