It's so great because Tom Crean is way too good a coach to outright fire. I hope he has a career 540-180 record at Indiana when he finishes, with zero national titles.

They did everything they could to choke away a Big Ten title except, you know, choking away a Big Ten title.

And Gary Harris is the Purdue kid who got away.

And I'm really sorry to tell you this because I know it will break your heart, but Noah Vonleh is really, really good.

You're my favorite IU fan of all.

Most IU fans are so vanilla, so accepting, so ready to make excuses for the Hoosiers.

Kentucky and North Carolina fans feel your pain.

Yes, Roy Williams and John Calipari were never criticized as being not good enough in-game coaches to win national championships in their early days.

Roy Williams was 52 when he made his second Final Four appearance. John Calipari was 49.

    Tom Crean is 47.

I'm against strong opinions on issues that require nuance, such as being a good coach. You have one. So I am going to tear it down with logic.

    Welcome to the Internet.

    Yes.

But I find it interesting you would question why someone would take a combative contrarian stance in the name of knocking someone else down a few pegs.

For a guy who coached in the Final Four, it seems wah-wah-ish to be so certainly resigned to a Sweet 16 appearance being his ceiling.

My integrity is logical backing. Yours is fanboi emotion.

One correction: Dwyane Wade was God, at least relative to his competition. Wade was the most talented player to spend three years in college basketball in the 2000s.
