Butler game went from crap to pretty interesting in a hurry. Fun game here in Rupp.

Rotnei Clarke? That's something you would name your pet Rottweiler.

I about fell out of my chair the first Butler game I watched this year when Rotnei Clarke turned out to be a white dude.

A good history piece here about how Butler went from less than nothing -- as a basketball program and a school -- to the Big East. Even though I never hear anyone from Butler say the endgame is to be Duke, when I was recently visiting a high school friend who works there, we were talking about the similarities between the schools, in terms of using basketball to help augment and push their overall brand. Also, Butler is like Duke in that Bubbler hates the school with a Dukish passion.

It's interesting that Butler now is on a higher plane of national awareness than Arkansas, less than 20 years removed from the Razorbacks' national championship.

    I don't know if that's the case.

Butler's a local team for me and Arkansas isn't, so I'm much more likely to see him play for Butler than Arkansas. And certainly I pay more attention to Butler's players when I do watch and follow.

I think it is the case, though.

And yes, we all know about your love of the local universities.
