Big day for the Pac-12. And Colorado State looking good early against Missouri.

When sober, Eustachy is a hell of a coach.

Alford in the house. Two damn points in 7 minutes.

Loaded with seniors and the best rebounding team in the country. If they win, I think they can give Louisville a hell of a game. I couldn't quite pull the trigger on my bracket, but I gave it some good thought.

Fast and lively, and they can shoot the shit out of the ball.

Belmont got about as bad of a draw as it could get. Bruins are small. Arizona is big. They had no chance.

I only thought of Davidson choking as in the final six seconds. Horrible game management there. Too much risk in trying to make that pass. Use a timeout. Take the foul. But you can't throw it like that.

Just don't feel like there's going to be much noise from the Cinderella crowd in this tourney. The 12s that won were underseeded power-conference teams. I think the basketball from the Sweet 16 on will be fantastic, though.

Those New Mexico uniforms look like one of the beavers' opponents from Teen Wolf.

Sober Larry Eustachy has the personality of a hat rack, but the man can clearly coach.

Well, yes. Oregon was vastly under-seeded. They won the Pac-12 tournament and was second in the regular season. Cal beat a team in a rematch from earlier this season -- and had won -- AND Cal had the luxury of playing an hour from campus.

Let me get this straight - Missouri is losing in the first/second round and a Steve Alford-coached team is struggling against a team it should beat easily? Must be March.

If Tommy Amaker and Steve Alford meet in an NCAA Tournament game, the rules dictate someone has to win, right?

Also, VCU is pressing up 43 points on an Akron team with two starters out sick. Now running alley oops and shooting threes. Careful, New Money VCU.
