We're talking about mid-majors, not low majors. And the term has a very specific meaning in this context. Saint Louis is a mid-major, along with every team in the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Well... at least the last couple of years.
They're still not an automatic at-large team and, until Majerus turned the corner, their Spoonhour appearances were seen more as a fluke than actual long-term building.

    Sparty is Michigan STATE.
How dare you confuse the Spartans with the Washtenaw Weasels

How the hell did New Mexico lose to this team? Harvard looks like shit so far.

Is Iverson from Colorado St a legitimate NBA prospect? He reminds a bit of Rick Mahorn

Just shows how difficult it is to back up the upset of your life with a second upset of your life 48 hours later.

He might land in the second round, but I wouldn't touch him. He spent three years at Minnesota doing absolutely nothing. He's not athletic. He doesn't have range. He's not even that big at 6-10, 255. Stiff centers are useless.

It's been so bad, I watched a little of the women's tournament.

Louisville destroyed a very good team.

When VCU made their Final Four run, I don't think they ran into a team with great guards. They would have been better off drawing IU than Michigan.

But this was a hell of a season for them. Smart's recruits will get better and better, and with their style of play and his energy as a coach, they could be in the Sweet 16, Elite 8 level of a team in about 2-3 more recruiting classes. They are not there yet, but they are getting there.
