This just in: UCLA is in LA. That's what the LA stood for, in case anyone was wondering.

At some point, people have got to put Gonzaga in the category of Cal-SB, only at the top of that list...just a whiz team that got lots of fuel off one good Cinderella year.

Well, people were asking why would somebody take the job. And, well, if you don't have $100 million, why wouldn't you?

It's easy to recruit college kids to come to a town where they can see Paris Hilton and Ashton Kutcher roaming the streets and Mila Kunis frequenting the coffee shops. The weather's nice, too.

Did I mention the Lakers and Clippers are in town? An actual legit education can be had there, and if you win people will pay attention because you're in LA and the media loves LA.

SO are the Lakers, the Clippers, the Dodgers, the Angels, USC football, UCLA football ...

I bet more basketball fans, not journalists, know who coaches VCU and Butler then knew who coached UCLA.

As for FGCU, dude's got more money than Calipari and Kryzyyzyzshki combined, a beach front home and a school that will let anyone with eligibility in. Besdies, lets see him do this again in 4 years. Great ride, great kids, fun style. Repeat?

Since Bill Self has been at Kansas, he is 15-3 in the first game of the week during the NCAA Tournament. His record in the second game (one-day preparation) is 9-5.

I certainly expect Michigan to pressure the shit out of Kansas, and wouldn't be surprised if Michigan won. But Bill Self with extra time to prep will come up with something to combat the pressure, which probably will include Naadir Tharpe playing in excess of 30 minutes.
