ESPN just said 12 teams for four spots. It would be nice to see them pick Appalachian State, Old Dominion, Missouri State, and Air Force from that list rather than the name brands.

Jay Bilas is the only TV guy who gets this Drexel-ODU debate.

No to Mizzou State and Air Force. I just don't see why they belong in the tournament.

And even though I can't stand them, Kansas State probably ought to make the cut. Fourth-best team in the Big 12 deserves to be there.

Nick Fazekas is hot. That is all.

And since Dye's gone now, I'll run the Second Annual Billy Packer High Seed Tournament. Details coming after the bracket's released.

Um ... Oz ... we're agreeing on something. I don't know what to do.

It's OK, man. It was bound to happen at some point.

Ditto. And while Appy making it would be fun, I don't really buy them. Sure, they beat Virginia, Vandy and VCU. They also lost to Elon, which is a much worse loss than those three are good victories. Outside chance had Xavier, Nevada and Butler won their conferences, next to no chance now even if they hijack the Goodyear blimp and pimp themselves with it.

Wait a minute . . . I thought getting a top seed was also supposed to keep you somewhat close to your region?

So if Florida is the top overall, why are they not in the Soth? With Ohio State in the midwest?

    Weird.

There's probably some sort of matchup issue that keeps them from putting certain teams in certain regions.

I was ABOUT to complain about Butler being a 5. Guess what I'm not going to do?
