If it makes you feel any better, I'm pissed that Drexel didn't get in either. BTW, to add insult to injury, the highlight package that they showed at the end featured the Indiana/Syracuse national title game. I rewound to my DVR to make sure I was seeing things correctly.
Surprised Billy Packer really toned it down this year. Guess if the ACC gets its way, and the mid-majors get it hard and fast, he's got no beef.
Well, the Cardinals aren't leaving the state. That's a home-court advantage if there ever was one for a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Again, FJ, I'm not happy you're unhappy (my Cuse grad buddy who has been pouring it on for a year about how Mason deserved to be in the field last year...him, I'm happy he's unhappy). Just saying that this happens every year, and usually to a school far lower on the totem pole than the Cuse. I'm sure Cuse will draw Mississippi Valley State and two other duds so they can at least get to the NIT Final Four.
Exactly. He's a fucking ass. All the fucking mid-major at large guys are playing another mid-major. Fuck the selection committe!!!!!!!!!!
After Thad leads the Buckeyes to the national title I'm going to have to create the Web site www.firethadmatta.com and make it identical to www.firejimtressel.com
Funny how that works, isn't it? And this year's selection chair is.........a mid-major AD. Amazing. Criminal.
I don't see why Purdue or Michigan State are in. Drexel and Cuse can and should have gone in over them. Otherwise, I'm fine with everything. And I have Georgia Tech going to the Sweet 16. The ACC was represented just right this year. So was the Pac 10. And Billy Packer is the happiest man in America because he's a giant ass.
Drexel's problem wasn't just that they finished fourth in the CAA, it's that they finished fourth in a conference where the gap between 4 and 5 during the regular season was fairly sizeable. 1-4 against VCU/ODU/Hofstra is pretty poor, and in a year where three mid-major locks didn't win their conference, there you go.
