Syracuse's non-conference wins: St. Francis, Penn, Northeastern, UTEP, Charlotte, Canisius, Colgate, Baylor, Hofstra, St. Bonaventure. All but Canisius, by the way, at home. I'll ask again, Who'd they beat? They don't have a single really impressive non-conference win. If you're going to schedule that way, you'd better dominate your conference or you're going to be at risk. I look at the teams that beat Syracuse out and I see much better non-conference wins, regardless of what the SOS rankings are. There are a lot of good teams outside the Big East. Syracuse ought to try playing some of them.

Yeah that's not going to do anything for the case that they should have made the tourney.

I'd like to point out a certain CAA team won two NIT games last year after it got buttviolated by the selection committee. Thank you.

The Dragons have probably been reading this thread. They realized they're such a powerhouse the NIT is beneath them.

You are right drexel beat cuse. They should be in. They beat Vermont, Nova, Cuse and Creighton all on the road. My point is that can anyone honestly look at Illinois for example and tell me that they should be in. Go ask Tom Izzo. And no one has mentioned that in the Drexel game Cuse was up until their strating PF (Roberts 8.8 ppg 8.1 reb) tore his knee. After that, Elegar for Drexel went off and finished with 27 and 10. I believe it was a fifteen point swing.

Get over it you whiny dickhead.
Your team was a fraud last year just like Drexel proved to be a fraud this year.

    Could be worse.

I could have gone to Rider.

I'm still on the Drexel bandwagon. Yeah, they lost. But it was after a big let down to a hot team.

    No shame there.

If Syracuse loses, I'll throw myself on my sword.

Well, there's a little shame. They were rested, had a chip on their shoulder and an early lead against a team playing their fifth game in six days while on the road. Shoulda finished them.

Im not surprised they lost, and for everyone in the NIT pool I would not have picked Syracuse after round one. Or K-State.
