    2, I've been in the game longer and definitely wasn't throwing a dart your way. But a lot of guys have made that claim and I refuse to believe the claim that no minority candidates could be found any specific job in this industry. There are too many still working and many others out of the business for one reason or another. Again, I'm not throwing any darts at you so I hope you don't take the comment personally.

    The Orlando Sentinel has indeed hired Jeff Shain, formerly of the Miami Herald, as our new golf writer. He starts next week.

    Thanks to all the candidates who expressed interest, many learning of the job from this board.
