Sesame Street, brought to you by the letter H, the letter B, and the letter O, and the number a lot

Sesame Street has theme park licensing agreements, tons of merchandising, and a live stage show that still tours the country. And at least half of each season is repackaged content from 10 years prior (because they assume their viewing audience won't have seen it... I learned this when we had kids 10 years apart). How badly do they really need some other streaming service's money? They can't subsist on PBS funds?

How long do you think PBS (and NPR for that matter) will get any funding?

In October, The Hollywood Reporter announced that the series would be “reimagined” for its 56th season, emphasizing a more narrative-driven structure; it’s unclear where those plans now stand.

C'mon, give us the gritty Sesame Street where Big Bird tries finding the crack dealer within the gang.

Including the Very Special Episode where they learn it is hurtful for everyone to immediately suspect Oscar.

Except of course it is Oscar.

Today's letters are "O" and "R." Occam's Razor is the most reasonable explanation for any issue.

Well a drag queen loves to read us books
In the makeup and the dresses he looks
Almost like a woman who's tall
Until you spy his cock and balls

A drag queen is a person in our neighbood
He's in our neighborhood, he's in our neigh-bor-hood
A drag queen is a person in our neighborhood
A person that you meet, when you're walking down the street
He's a person that you meet each day!
